Kim Salkeld departs Efficiency Unit
The government has appointed Co-ordinator (Policy Address) of the Central Policy Unit Olivia Nip as Head of the Efficiency Unit. He will succeed Kim Salkeld on 1 December.
Salkeld has led the Efficiency Unit for eight years since August 2009. Before that, he was Land Registrar, with Nip, then Deputy Secretary for Food & Health (Food), again succeeding him following the appointment.
Two deputy heads to assume director roles
Wong Chung-leung, Deputy Director of Water Supplies, will become Director of Water Supplies on 3 December, succeeding Enoch Lam, while Sylvia Lam, Deputy Director of Architectural Services, will become Director of Architectural Services on 10 December, succeeding Leung Koon-kee.
